Mural Painting from this Week!

This week I've been doing some murals on the walls of my friend, Jennys salon . I probably spent more time in a salon in the past 3 days than I have in my whole life. Well, it was really fun to do and here are some pictures :)

This was my favourite to do. The colours were great to paint.

Lettering and Bamboos!!

I never want to have to paint bamboos again! "Dark...Medium...Light..." !

18th Birthday!

It was my18th Birthday on Wednesday! I had an awesome day and went to dinner with some friends from training and my family. I got some amazing gifts, So I had to blog about how beautiful some were. I can't wait to take some ideas from the gifts and include them in my artwork...

ZENIT-E Vintage Camera
My Mom found me this in a Vintage shop for real cheap. Its so beautiful. I've had some vintage cameras before, Including an Chinon and Nikon, but sold them a while back. Hopefully I can get some film this week and make some awesome pictures.

Kat Von D's "Tattoo Chronicles"
Even though I prefer the Miami and NY Ink shows, I do really love Kat. This book is so inspiring, the artwork is amazing and the photographs are beautiful. Its definitely a special book to keep. The pictures above are ones I particularly love. I think Kat looks so beautiful in the top one, I plan on sketching that out...

Vivienne Westwood "Naughty Alice" Print Ad Artwork.

Saw this in a magazine and I love the artwork for it, Will have a go at my own version tonight! Post tommorow!

Bridgette Bardot

Really loved this picture of Bridgette Bardot. She looks amazing, like a pin up girl, which I love to draw.

Featured on: The Style Prodigy!

My Artwork recently got featured on my friend, Iza Artilleros amazing style blog, ! It was so exciting, Izas Blogs are always fantastic, so to be featured was awesome! Check it out!

Surf Inspired Artwork

Some Surf Photography that I loved, stuck in my Sketchbook.

A surfboard shape with a design in the middle and running on the outside. I was looking through the book 'Subway Art' By Martha Cooper and Henry Chaflant, and I loved the artwork, So this is my *attempt* at doing some funky writing!
Half Pencil- Half Paint. I was listening to 'Dear California' By Vanessa Carlton when I painted this.
A Group of Surfboard Shapes with a face indide! The Blue drops on her face are water, Not going as planned!

Using the colors associated with surfing I drew this portrait, sticking some surfboards in the middle and using the colors of a sunset in one. Kind of random on this one...

If you know me, you know how obsessed I am with anything Surfer-y. Surf Photography, Surf Art, People who paint on Surfboards (something I plan on trying). Here are a few sketches that were inspired by surfing, the colors, the shape of the board (which is featured in most of the drawings), etc. A combination of two of the things Im obsessed by; Art and Surfers :)
